Sifriyat Pijama B'America
FAMILIES IN THE U.S. can receive free preschool-level children's books in the language of Hebrew, thanks to an effort of the Israeli American Council (IAC) in partnership with the Adam and Gila Milstein Family Foundation, the AVI CHAI Foundation, and the Harold Grinspoon Foundation along with philanthropists and organizations throughout the United States.
Implemented on a local level throughout the U.S., Sifriyat Pijama B'America (SP-BA), is a Hebrew-based Jewish literacy and family engagement program inspired by PJ Library and Sifriyat Pijama, our free children's book program in Israel.
The goal of Sifriyat Pijama B'America is to reach Israeli families in the U.S. and connect them with a national Israeli-American organization, such as the ILC. The books are also intended to help promote bilingual skills and spark meaningful parent-child conversations.
