The Role of Partners

IN ORDER TO BRING THE PJ LIBRARY program to a new community, two kinds of partners are required: Funding Partners and Implementing Partners.

Funding Partners

Funding Partners include philanthropists, Federations, synagogues, JCCs, and other non-profit organizations that finance the cost of materials and mailings for families in your local area---only $40 per subscription per year ($50 in Canada). HGF underwrites more than 50 percent of the total costs of the books and mailings, including overhead and administrative costs.

Implementing Partners

Implementing Partners administer The PJ Library in their communities. Communities have the option to offer one subscription per family or one subscription per child. The PJ Library home office team of professionals provides resources and ongoing support for implementation, recruitment, program development, and marketing for each community.

Your Gift to the Community

In each community, the program is publicized as a gift from local sponsors, with mailings going out in personalized PJ Library envelopes that acknowledge the generous gifts of the funders.
