JCP Downtown (Lower Manhattan south of 14th St.)
About Our Community
The Jewish Community Project is dedicated to serving an inclusive and diverse Jewish population and making an impact on the social fabric of Lower Manhattan. JCP provides Jewish education for all ages through its preschool, hebrew school, teen programs and adult classes. JCP is organic and growing, meeting needs and creating needs by giving its participants an opportunity to explore, learn, and celebrate their Jewish life through holiday celebrations, life-cycle and community events, and social action programs. Through its vibrant network of volunteers and partner organizations, JCP is fulfilling it’s commitment to meet the educational, social, and spiritual needs for those seeking a progressive and engaging connection to Jewish life.
