About this Community

JEWISH FAMILY & COMMUNITY SERVICES (JFCS) is honored to sponsor The PJ Library in Jacksonville sharing books and music with young Jewish families and their children. With generous donations from the DuBow Family Foundation and the Sam Berman Charitable Foundation, JFCS is partnering with the Jewish Federation of Jacksonville, area dayschools, and synagogues. Our goal is to enrich, engage, and excite families about their Jewish heritage and traditions. The Jacksonville Jewish community has approximately 15,000 residents and covers Duval, St Johns, Nassau, and Clay counties.

JFCS provides quality social and community services to enhance the lives of children, adults, seniors, and families coping with challenges that arise throughout the life cycle. Guided by Jewish values, with a rich tradition of nearly 100 years, the services are available to all in the First Coast Community. JFCS is committed to the mission of "helping people help themselves" and serves all persons in a non-discriminatory manner. Families find hope, support, and answers at JFCS.
